DSC_0905 copy.JPG Hi, I'm JJ

i believe that hard work and persistence in film-making, provides the opportunity to leave behind something greater than yourself.

i believe the most important thing in my life and the most important influence that i have in this world is not my ability to mess around with a camera, but it's about who i am as a person.

my passion is to tell stories that inspire others and i believe in the simple premise that storytelling changes the world.

my blog is like a journal where I post all of my recent work and create conversation around storytelling, so check back often and see what I've been up to.

The Story from JJ Starr on Vimeo.

High School kids from around the country read the account of the cross. The cards being pinned to the cross are all real issues that kids wrote a few days prior. This video is a calibration between myself and a very talented friend of mine, Jose.
